Well, it's a go for the field trip. We will be attending the spring meeting of the North Texas Philosophical Association, in April. Info is located here, http://www.ntpa.net/ , although there are not a lot of details yet. We will be leaving Friday, April 14 at around 7-8 AM, and retuning Sunday, the 16th, in the evening.
We need everyone's confirmations by the middle of this month, so we can determine costs.

New Semester!
The spring semester is upon us. There are five Philosophy courses being offered this semester, of which there was only one I could take. :(
We are currently trying to work out new times and days for our Philosophy Club. It is looking like either Tuesdays or Thurdays at 12:30, but we'll have to see.
On the Club's agenda for this semester:

On the Club's agenda for this semester:
- Officer Election
- Event Scheduling (movie night, guest lectures, essay-writing workshop II, etc.)
- Community Service Project, TBD.
- Journal Publishing
- Field Trip Selection
- End-of-Semester Party
We will be busy this semester, getting togather study materials, etc. for all 5 classes. We also need to consider topics for this semesters meetings/papers. We had some really great classes last semester, I hope these are as fun.

Intro...
I am hoping that the club will help introduce students to the presence of the burgeoning philosophy program at ASU. The Philosophy program at ASU is really a subsection in the Government Department.
As of yet, only a minor is offered; perhaps with more publicity, we will have more class options and someday, at least an undergrad major.
